last night my cat was vomiting a liquid foam and making human like sounds! ?

it was completely quiet then my roomate and i heard a sound in the back room. We went to investigate and found our poor cat Motor sitting in the hallway huntched over. He had thrown up this white foam stuff and kept making these strange sounds as though he was trying to talk... Im not joking. Motor is the type of cat that always has to be the center of attention, and now he is acting distant and distracted. hes has no desire to eat and wont even drink water... im worried about him. any help is more then welcome! whats wrong with him? upside is, he is purring. lol.

Motor needs to see a vet ASAP. No one on this site can diagnose him for you. Purring isn't a sign that things are okay, sick kitties often purr to comfort themselves.

CG is right. We would love to dispense free medical advice here, but unfortunately we aren't vets. Even if we were, we have never seen your cat, well or sick and it would be foolish to try to diagnose what's wrong. It could be a simple stomach upset or he could have been poisoned. When we adopt a cat, we take on the responsibility for that animal's life. That includes vetting. Cats often purr when they're scared or sick, so don't count that to mean he's OK. Take him to a vet. Check your local shelters and rescues for low-cost medical care. I've never known a vet to turn away a sick cat.

Has he eaten something that doesnt agree with him, this sounds like you need a vet visit, he could have just eaten grass which acts as an endemit and they deliberately make themselves sick if they have a furball or have eaten something they shouldnt. Poisen is another thing to worry about if puss goes out. Definately a vet visit as soon as you can get him there
